SECT employs interpersonal communication, interactive theatre, posters, radio messages, and youth volunteers to promote positive health behaviors. Peer educators and SHG members serve as local ambassadors for health awareness.

Health underpins educational outcomes, livelihoods and social dignity. Samarpan Education and Charitable Trust (SECT) therefore places health at the core of its rural development agenda in Surat and Vadodara districts. The Health & Community Well-Being Program combines regular medical camps, preventive interventions, elderly care and mental health support with community capacity building and behavior-change communication. It aims to improve health indicators, encourage early detection of diseases, and create sustainable referral pathways to public health facilities.

Our program Goal is to improve health outcomes and health-seeking behaviour among rural communities in Surat and Vadodara districts, with a focus on children, adolescent girls, women and the elderly.
